Uttarakhand weather update: Cold to intensify in coming days
Mercury levels are set to drop from the mountains to the plains in Uttarakhand. Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has issued a forecast of cold wave in the plains of Uttarakhand. According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, there will be a cold wave in Udham Singh Nagar of Uttarakhand for the next 4 days, which will also affect the temperature and a drop in temperature will be felt. Apart from cold wave, the Meteorological Department has also expressed the possibility of dense fog in the plains.
On the other hand, the winters on the mountains are making life difficult for the locals. It is getting very cold on the mountains, due to which there is a possibility of frost in the mountains as well, due to which the bitter cold will increase. According to the Meteorological Department, a change in the weather of Uttarakhand will be felt from from Tuesday. In view of this, a yellow alert has been issued in all the districts and an appeal has been made to all the people to avoid the cold. According to the Meteorological Department, there will be a difference of more than 18 degrees in the minimum temperature for the next few days. Amidst the increasing cold, the Meteorological Department has appealed to the people to take special care of the elderly and small children.
