Uttarakhand Corona update: 1005 cases found on 30 September
On Wednesday, 30 September, 1005 new cases have been reported, of which 336 are from Dehradun. Apart from this, 133 are from Haridwar, 112 from Nainital, 65 from Pauri Garhwal, 61 from Chamoli, 59 from Tehri Garhwal, 58 from Udham Singh Nagar, 54 from Champawat, 41 from Uttarkashi, 26 from Bageshwar, 24 from Pithoragarh, 20 from Almora and 16 from Rudraprayag have been reported. At the same time, 976 have been cured, while 11 infected have died. The number of infected patients has now reached 49000 in the state. However, 39035 of these have been fully recovered. Currently 9111 cases are active, while 611 have died. Apart from this, 243 patients have gone out of the state.
Two corona infected patients died in STH
Dr. Sushila Tiwari Covid Hospital Medical Superintendent said that an 81-year-old elderly resident of Haldwani succumbed during treatment. She had BP, kidney problems and was also corona infected. Apart from this, a 37-year-old patient of Naukuchiatal Bhimtal was suffering from various diseases including diabetes and pneumonia. He too was also found Corona infected. He died on Wednesday.
Investigation report of 9580 samples has been received from private and government labs from the health department. Of these, 9087 reports have come negative. Today 9985 samples were sent for testing across the state. The recovery rate of patients is 79.66%.
