Total Corona cases go past 23000 in Uttarakhand

The cases of corona infection are increasing rapidly in Uttarakhand. On Friday too, 831 new cases have been reported, of which 205 are the highest in Dehradun. Apart from this, 163 in Haridwar, 131 in Nainital, 85 in Pauri Garhwal, 76 in Tehri Garhwal, 63 in Udham Singh Nagar, 34 in Almora, 24 in Champawat, 13 each in Rudraprayag and Pithoragarh, 11 in Uttarkashi, 10 in Bageshwar and 3 cases in Chamoli have been reported. At the same time, 502 people recovered today, while 12 have died. The number of corona infects has reached 23011 in the state, while 15447 patients have become healthy. At present 7187 cases are active, while 312 have died. Apart from this, 65 patients have gone out of the state.

Entry restrictions in Government offices after Corona cases detected

In view of increasing cases of Corona virus, District Magistrate of Dehradun, Dr. Ashish Shrivastava has banned entry of outsiders in the Collectorate. They will not get entry until September 7. However, complaints or information can be put in the drop box outside the office. Newly infected persons are being identified due to the outbreak of Corona virus infection across the state. Presently the impact of Covid-19 pandemic is increasing day by day, due to which there is a possibility of outbreak of Covid-19 among the employees working in state offices. In this sequence, personnel working in Collectorate have been found infected. In the collectorate, outsiders visit in large numbers for different works.

The situation in Uttarakhand is getting worse in terms of corona. Now every day the record of patients is being broken. On Thursday also 946 new cases have been reported in the state. This is the highest number of infected in a day. The infection was confirmed in 836 people a day earlier i.e. on Wednesday.

After the second and third stages of unlock, the restrictions are all but eliminated in Unlock 4, due to which the situation demands even more caution. This can be gauged from the fact that in the last one month the number of active corona patients has doubled in the state.

There are 368 containment zones in the state across 8 districts. Out of this Haridwar has the maximum number of containment zones- 299.
