Shops to open till 8 P.M in Uttarakhand; market to remain open 7 days a week in Doon

In Uttarakhand, now themarkets will be open till eight o’clock at night. At the same time, people will also be able to go for morning walk. The government has also scrapped the two-day weekend lockdown system in Doon.

Chief Minister Trivendra Rawat made this announcement in a media interaction at the secretariat on Saturday. There was a provision to open shops in the state from seven in the morning till seven in the evening.

Now it has been done till eight o’clock at night. CM said that in the center’s guide line, the market is allowed to open till nine o’clock in the night, but the state government has decided to open till 8 o’clock at present.

Restrictions on markets or shops in the containment areas of the state will remain. CM Trivendra said that due to the lockdown till seven in the morning, the morning walkers were still understanding the boundations and only after that they were leaving on the morning walk.

Due to this there was large crowds. Such complaints were also being received from many districts. The state government has decided that now people can take a morning walk from five in the morning, they will not be stopped.

He said that several positive cases of corona had come together in the Dehradun vegetable market in the past. Doon was locked for two days Saturday and Sunday to break the chain.

Since this chain is broken now and no case has come from there for a long time, DM has given instructions to end the two-day lockdown in Dehradun.

People got relief in conducting the test

CM Trivendra Rawat said that people are relieved due to price of corona testing in private lab being fixed for Rs 2,400. Earlier this investigation was being done for Rs 4,500.

This will increase testing capacity, but will also speed up pending tests. This decision of the government will also allow effective control of the corona pandemic.

Will take opinion on Chardham Yatra

In response to the question asked about the Chardham Yatra, Chief Minister Trivendra said that its decision will be taken in three-four days time. The opinion of the panda-priest society will also be taken. Only then will the government reach a conclusion. Preparations have already been completed before the government level.
