Over 75 percent of eligible population has been vaccinated against Corona

Amidst the new cases of corona in the country, more than 75% of the eligible population in the country has been fully vaccinated. At the same time, Prime Minister Modi has congratulated everyone on this achievement. PM Modi said, “75% of all adults are fully vaccinated. Congratulations to our countrymen for this momentous achievement. Proud of all those who are making our vaccination campaign a success.”

At the same time, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya tweeted on this achievement. He wrote, “With the mantra of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Prayas’, India has achieved the target of providing both doses of the vaccine to 75% of its adult population. We continue to get stronger in the fight against Corona. We have to follow all the rules. Have to keep following and get the vaccine as soon as possible.”

Status of vaccination in the country

According to the data released by the Ministry of Health, 62,22,682 people have been vaccinated in the country in the last 24 hours. After which the total number of vaccinated people has exceeded 165 crores. Earlier in October 2021, the total vaccination figure in India had reached 100 crores. In January 2022, the same figure had reached above 150 crores.

More than 2 lakh cases of corona in the country

2.34 lakh new corona infected were found in the country on Saturday. At the same time 893 people died. The good thing is that during this period 3.51 lakh people have also recovered. On Friday, 2.35 lakh cases and 871 deaths were registered. That is, the new cases have decreased slightly as compared to the previous day.
