The company said that this limit can be increased further in the coming times, so that users can stay connected with friends, family and colleagues. Meta says that the new WhatsApp desktop app for Windows has the same interface as the mobile version. The update also introduces new multi-device capabilities, faster device linking and syncing, the company said.
Data will be safe
WhatsApp says the desktop app for Windows will continue to offer end-to-end encryption for messaging, media and calls across multiple devices, including mobile phones, computers and tablets, just like the company’s other apps.
