Uttarakhand corona cases: 787 cases found on April 8

There was no let up in rising Corona cases in Uttarakhand. On Thursday, 787 new infections have been detected in the state within 24 hours. While three corona-infected patients have died. At the same time, the number of active cases has crossed five thousand.

According to Health Department data, the report of 29287 samples on Thursday came negative. So far, 105498 corona infection cases have been reported in the state, out of which 97000 patients have been cured. On Wednesday, the maximum number of 1109 new infected cases of this year were reported within 24 hours in the state. While five corona-infected patients died.

So far 1744 corona-infected patients have died during treatment in the state. Dehradun, Haridwar, Nainital and Udham Singh Nagar are getting maximum number of cases. The number of active cases has reached 5042.

Containment zones began to increase with corona infection

Containment zones have started increasing again to control the corona infection in the state. Within a week, 34 micro containers have been announced in four districts. On behalf of the government, all districts were instructed to create small containment zones for prevention of infection.

The risk of corona infection is increasing in the state. Due to which the Government has again insisted on declaring the area of ​​infected people as Containment Zone. In order to prevent infection from spreading. As on 31 March 2021, there were five containment zones in Dehradun district. At the same time, now 34 micro containment zones have been created in four districts. In which Dehradun district has declared the maximum 22 containment zones. While four containment zones have been set up in Haridwar district, seven in Nainital and one in Tehri district.
