‘Bill Lao Inaam Pao’- know about Uttarakhand tax department’s scheme
The app for the state tax department’s Bill Lao-Inaam Pao (Bring bill get rewarded) scheme is expected to be available on Google and Apple stores within a week. This app has been available on the department’s website. The State Tax Department has started the reward scheme on the purchase bills of more than Rs 200. Under this scheme, bills after September can be uploaded on the department’s app.
State Tax Commissioner Ahmed Iqbal said that the department’s app is ready, the link of which is available on the department’s website. But the app is not yet available on Google and Apple stores. He said that there is a process of getting the app in both these stores and it is going on now. He said that the first monthly lucky draw under the scheme would be held at the end of November. In this lucky draw, the bills from September to November will be taken.
How to download app
State tax department officials said on Wednesday that to upload the bill you will need the app, till the time the app is not available on the play store and app store users can go to http//gst.uk.gov.in and enter your mobile number by clicking on the Bill Lao Inaam Pao box. After that the link will be sent to you via SMS. Click on the link received by SMS and click on the download button. Once the download is complete, go to the downloads folder and click on the file. Select allow from another/unknown source when asked. Then the app can be installed by clicking on the install button.
