Harish Rawat relieved from Punjab in-charge post

The Congress high command has relieved former Uttarakhand Chief Minister Harish Rawat from the post of Punjab in-charge. In his place, Harish Chaudhary has been appointed as the new in-charge of Punjab Congress. Chaudhary, AICC secretary of Punjab, has also been made in-charge of Chandigarh. Two days ago, Harish Rawat met senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and requested him to be relieved from the post of in-charge of Punjab Congress.
