Uttarakhand corona update: less than 1000 cases after 53 days

In the second wave of Corona, after 53 days on Tuesday, the figure of new patients was less than one thousand. On Tuesday, 981 cases were found in the state while 36 died. With this, the total number of patients in the state has reached three lakh thirty thousand. Out of this, two lakh ninety thousand patients have been cured while there are around 27 thousand active patients. Earlier on April 9, 2021, 778 new patients of Corona were found in the state. Since then the patients found on Tuesday are the lowest. On Tuesday, a total of about 30 thousand samples were examined and 30 thousand samples were sent for examination. The rate of corona infection in the state has crossed 6.85 percent while the recovery rate of patients has crossed 88 percent.

36 patients undergoing treatment in various hospitals of the state died on Tuesday. The most eight patients died at Mahant Indresh Hospital. Patients have also died during treatment in many other hospitals. The process of backlog deaths in the state is not ending. On Tuesday also, the death toll of a total of nine patients from across the state was added to the total deaths. With this, the total death toll in the state has gone up to 6497 so far. On Tuesday, 2062 patients have been cured after treatment.

District wise Corona stats 1st June

At present there are 321 containment zones in Uttarakhand, with district Dehradun having the maximum 58 such zones. 30624 samples were sent for testing today and 15648 beneficiaries were vaccinated today.
