Mughalsarai railway station to be renamed Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay Jn. today
The name of the iconic Mughalsarai junction of Uttar Pradesh will be changed from today. Now this historic railway station will be known as Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction. Railway Minister Piyush Goyal will announce this . Meanwhile, BJP’s national president Amit Shah and UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will also be present.
Mughalsarai’s board manager Pankaj Saxena said that while announcing the new name of railway junction, the rail minister can also announce its yard to be made smart yard, route relay interlocking and other development works at the railway station.
Saxena said that he will also show the green signal to the ‘Ekatim Express’ train. This train will be run on Sultanpur for two days a week. In this program BJP National President Amit Shah will be accompanied by Minister of State for Railways Manoj Sinha, Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya and other senior BJP leaders.
