Uttarakhand CM appeals to Tabligi Jamaat attendees to come forward
Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat has appealed to people who have reached Uttarakhand from Tabligi Jamaat to come forward themselves. The Chief Minister said that on 11 and 12 March, people had gathered in Tablighi Jamaat in New Delhi, including a large number of people from Uttarakhand.
The government is aware of them, but if a person is unknowingly sitting in hiding, then they should come before the administration. ‘Corona does not see religion, it can be avoided only by adopting social distance and being quarantine’.
On Wednesday, the Chief Minister, through Facebook, conveyed the message of helping the people in the ongoing war against Corona, and called for people to come forward for all possible help to the needy families while maintaining social distance.
The Chief Minister appreciated the services of the state’s Director General of Health, Amita Upreti in the war against Corona. He said that Dr. Amita’s father was in the medical corps. The same spirit is inside Dr. Amita.
The Chief Minister referred to a locality in Dehradun, where the video of showering flowers on cleaners went viral. He said that such behavior has to be maintained towards the cleaning workers.
The Chief Minister said that food stores are being set up for people at many places. These are against the principle of social distance. Such stores will have to be closed. He appealed only to the institutions to distribute food packets and distribute dry rations. The Chief Minister mentioned that the BJP distributed 35 thousand packets in a day.
Relief: three positive cases cured
The Chief Minister said that there is also good news amidst the ongoing war against Corona. Three out of seven people suffering from corona infection in the state have reported negative. The other four hospitalized people are also healthy, their report will also come soon.
