E-way bill to start in Uttarakhand from April 20 midnight

From  midnight on the 20th of April ie  Friday midnight the e-bill will be implemented for  the transport of goods within the state. Now it is mandatory to create e-bill on the transport of taxable goods more than 50 thousand rupees within the state. However, before this, the e-way bill for the transport of interstate goods has been implemented from April 1.

According to Preeti Manral, commissioner of the State Tax Office, Commissioner of State, this system of e-bill is within the state of second phase and it includes Himachal Pradesh, Bihar, Haryana, Jharkhand and Tripura including Uttarakhand. After this, it will be implemented in five states from April 25 and in the remaining states from April 30. In the first phase, this system has been implemented from April 15 in some states. Deputy Superintendent Preeti Manral told that the website www.ewaybillgst.gov should be used to create e-way bills. If there is any problem in making e-bill, then a 24-hour helpdesk has also been made for it.
