Covid-19 rules flouted in Rishikesh

Shops of clothes, books, shoes etc. are being openly operated at places like Kshetra Road, Mukherjee Marg, Tilakrod, Railway Road etc. But the responsible departments are maintaining silence rather than taking action in this direction.

Legal action against those violating the rules was to be implemented. For a few days, the weekly closure of markets in Rishikesh was completely followed, but the responsible officials have become complacent as soon as the corona vaccine started being introduced in the hospitals of Uttarakhand.
