Bhuvneshwar Kumar ruled out of IPL 2020 due to hip injury

One-time IPL champion Sunrisers Hyderabad suffered a major blow in the ongoing IPL. Indian bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar who has been the spearhead of the Orange Army’s fast bowling unit has been ruled out of IPL 2020.

Fast bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar suffered a hip injury against Chennai Super Kings. Due to this injury, he has to be out of the tournament. The team won against CSK in that match played in Dubai on Friday, but Bhuvneshwar Kumar could not bowl the last over of his quota. He had tried, but was hurt and went off the field.

Sources in the team confirmed to news agency ANI that fast bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar will miss the remaining matches of IPL 2020 due to injury. The source has said, “Bhuvneshwar Kumar will not be able to take part in the tournament this year, as he has been ruled out due to a hip injury. Certainly a big shock that he leads the bowling unit and is also an integral part of the group. ”

After the match against Chennai, captain David Warner said that he does not know much about Bhuvi’s injury. At the same time, before the match against Mumbai Indians on Sunday, Warner had said that Bhuvneshwar Kumar would miss some matches, due to hip injury but now he has also dropped out of the remaining matches of IPL 2020. Not only Sunrisers Hyderabad, but also the Indian team this news comes as a big setback as the Indian team has to go on an Australian tour after IPL, where the series of the three formats is to be played.
