3.9 magnitude earthquake rocks Delhi-NCR
Earthquake tremors have been felt in Delhi-NCR on Sunday afternoon at around 03.37 PM. According to preliminary information, the magnitude of earthquake measured 3.9 on the Richter scale. The center of the earthquake is in Sonipat, Haryana.
People living in high-rise buildings in Delhi-NCR felt more earthquake shocks. However, there is no news of any damage to life and property due to earthquake. Most of the people immediately came out of the house in panic.
Significantly, Delhi is considered very sensitive in terms of earthquake. Earthquake shocks were felt more in Delhi, Noida, Gururgram, and Faridabad’s highrise buildings. Although these shocks are being told lightweight. So people do not have to worry about it. Fans and chandeliers started moving in high-rise buildings, causing of which people came to know about earthquake.
The earthquake came only for a few seconds. But due to the panic, people remained out for a long time. There have been earthquake shocks several times in Delhi-NCR several months ago.
