Uttarakhand assembly elections 2022: Nearly 20 % voter turnout till 11 a.m

Voting is going on in 70 seats of Devbhoomi Uttarakhand. As of 11 am, 18.97% people have cast their votes in the state. Earlier, till 9 am, 5.15% voters had cast their vote in the state. Haridwar district recorded the highest polling of 22.41% till 11 am, while the lowest polling was recorded in Pithoragarh (14.96%). Other districts are Nainital (20.63%), Udham Singh Nagar (20.54%), Rudraprayag (19.39%), Dehradun (18.80%), Champawat (17.88%), Chamoli (17.58%), Uttarkashi (16.79%), Tehri Garhwal ( 16,61%), Bageshwar (16.60%), Pauri Garhwal (16,46%), Almora (15.04%).

Along with voting, there is tremendous enthusiasm among the youth to share selfies on social media. Especially the youth who are voting for the first time have appealed to others to vote by sharing their selfies on social media.
