PM Modi-President Trump have discussion over G-7

PM expressed happiness over the suggestion to include India in G7

President Trump expressed a desire to expand the scope of the G-7. He expressed his desire to include some other important countries, including India, in its current member countries. Prime Minister Modi praised Trump’s visionary thinking. He said that India would be happy to work with the US and other countries to make this summit a success.

Discussion on violence in America

PM Modi also talked about the violence in America. He hoped that the solution would be found soon. Discussions were also held between the two to improve the World Health Organization (WHO). Trump also discussed with PM about the tensions that arose between China and the Indian Army in eastern Ladakh last month. Trump had offered arbitration in the case. However, both India and China had talked about resolving the issue through mutual talks.Both leaders spoke for the first time after offering to mediate on the matter.
