Akshya Kumar shares Sooryavanshi’s song as flim promotions begin
Akshay Kumar’s much-awaited film Sooryavanshi is set to release in theaters on Diwali. This film from Rohit Shetty’s Cop Universe was being awaited for a long time. After permission to open theaters in Maharashtra from 22 October, it was decided to release the film on 5 November. From today (October 21) the promotions of the film have been duly started and the first song Aila Re Aila has been released.
The first song is according to the theme of the film and along with Sooryavanshi, Singham ie Ajay Devgan and Simmba ie Ranveer Singh have also been included in it. However, both these actors will only be seen in guest appearances in the film.
Aila Re Aila is an upbeat song that is passionate and loud. All the three actors are showing their dance moves wearing the uniforms of police officers. Actually, this is a recreated version of the song Aila Re from Akshay Kumar’s own film Khatta Meetha, which is voiced by Daler Mehndi and music has been recreated by Tanishk Bagchi. Lyrics are by Shabbir Ahmed.
Sooryavanshi stars Katrina Kaif in the female lead role, who has already done several films with Khiladi Kumar in the past. Akshay Kumar will be seen in the role of ATS Chief in the film.

Sooryavanshi was to be released in June 2020, but due to the pandemic, there was a lockdown and the film could not be released. This year, the film was announced to release in April when the number of Covid cases decreased, but when the second wave came, theaters were once again closed and the release of many films including Sooryavanshi was postponed. When the outbreak of the second wave subsided, theaters started opening in many states of the country, but cinema halls remained closed in Maharashtra, from where the maximum collection takes place. That’s why the release dates of many big films were not announced. As soon as the Maharashtra government gave permission to open cinema halls from October 22, the release dates of many films were released in a hurry. Sooryavanshi chose Diwali. If the situation had been normal, Akshay’s Prithviraj would have come this Diwali.
