CBSE paper leaks: Class 10th Maths and Class 12th Economics paper to be held again

Central Board of Secondary Education has decided to reconduct two examinations. CBSE will repeat one paper each of class X and Class XII. The board will repeat the exam of Class X  Mathematics and of 12th standard Economics. There were allegations that both of these papers were leaked and even before the examination their papers on social media became viral. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also expressed resentment over the paper leak.

Class 10th Mathematical Paper was conducted on Wednesday, but after the paper leak report it has been canceled. The Economics paper was done on Monday and on that day there were allegations that the examination paper had become viral on social media before the examination. However, on that day the CBSE had said the reports to be false and had ordered an inquiry.

According to government sources, students do not have to worry and students’ interests will be taken care of. At the same time, the gang related to mathematics paper leaks has been detected. The government is trying to bring a safe system to avoid paper leaks in the re-examination. The board will organize this examination as soon as possible and the dates of the exam will be announced by next week.

Meanwhile, Union Human Resources Minister Prakash Javadekar said that the CBSE has expressed its grief over the paper leak and said strict action will be taken against the culprits after the investigation. He assured the students and parents that all the examinations will be leak proof this time. Javadekar said that police investigation of the paper leak case is at a turning point, so he will not say much about the investigation. He said that in some parts the paper was leaked to Whatsapp and in this regard, we have lodged a complaint in the police.
