Many states in US reel under winter storm

The snow storm in America has gripped many parts of the country. There about 200 million people are in the grip of winter storm and 12 people have reportedly lost their lives. The cold is so intense that the boiling water is turning into ice in a few seconds.

From America to Quebec in Canada, this storm is wreaking havoc in an area of 3200 kms. Due to this, the electricity of the houses of 15 lakh people has failed. Several cities in the US have recorded sub 0 temperatures.

US President asks people to be alert for 24 hours

60 percent of America’s population is in the grip of this winter storm. Due to which 5200 flights have been canceled on Friday. Seeing the seriousness of the matter, President Joe Biden has asked people to be vigilant.
