According to the ECB, Stokes wants to prioritize mental health and family. This is the reason why Stokes will not be a part of the upcoming Test series against India.
The 30-year-old cricketer has been suffering from a finger injury for some time now and wants to take care of it. According to the report, he may stay away from cricket for the whole year and in such a situation there is doubt about his participation in the Ashes and T20 World Cup.

The Indian team is present in England these days and has to play a five-match Test series from the host country here.
