Corona’s ‘Lambda’ variant found in 29 nations

Peruvian officials informed that this variant has been found in 81 percent of the infected cases since April 2021. The World Health Organization reported that the lambda lineage carries mutations, which may enhance infection resistance or strengthen the virus’s resistance to antibodies.
