Uttarakhand corona update: 122 recover; 82 new cases on 27 June

The counter of new corona cases continues to remain below 100 in the state. 82 new cases of corona infection have been reported in Uttarakhand in the last 24 hours. Two patients have died there. Apart from this, today 122 patients were sent home after recovery.

So far, the total number of corona infected in the state has increased to 3,39,619. Of these, 3,24,249 (95.47%) people have been cured. At the same time, the number of active cases has come down to 2465. So far 7088 people have lost their lives due to corona in the state.

Guidelines issued for the prevention of Delta Plus variants of Corona

The Health Department has issued guidelines to all the districts for the prevention of the new Delta Plus variant of Corona virus. In which instructions were given to strengthen the surveillance system for identification of patients as well as to make arrangements for adequate medical facilities in Covid Hospitals, Covid Care Centers, Community Health Centers, Primary Health Centers.

In the guidelines issued by the Director General of Health, Dr. Tripti Bahuguna, the districts have been asked to take special precautions for the prevention of Delta Plus variants. At present, the Delta variant is spreading rapidly in many states of the country. This variant of Corona is spreading rapidly. Along with causing more damage to the lungs, it is reducing antibodies in the body.
