Leonardo Dicaprio shares message on Chennai water crisis

Academy award winning actor Leonardo DiCaprio has shared a photo of Chennai’s Water Crisis on his Instagram. Leo has written in the caption with the photo – “we can change the world”. Leo shared this photo after a news published on an International News website.

Significantly, DiCaprio has created a foundation in 1998 with his name. Which works to increase environmental awareness. With its help millions of dollars raise funds are raised that work to protect the environment.

Chennai water resources dry up

The Tamil Nadu government has made a new plan to overcome the water crisis of Chennai. In Chennai, 52.5 million liters of water is being supplied daily, but the 4 water bodies from which water comes out have dried up. The government has planned to bring 10 million liters of water per day from the railroad to Jolarpettai. Jolarpettai is 220 km away from Chennai. Apart from this, Kerala also offered to send 20 lakh liters of water daily to Tamil Nadu.
