Fed up of Bank pressure and business loss post GST man consumes poison in front of Cabinet Minister Subodh Uniyal
A transporter who came from Haldwani at the BJP headquarters in Dehradun was admitted to Doon Hospital after eating poison. The businessman first shouted slogans against the cabinet minister Subodh Uniyal and against the government. He said that after demonitization and then after GST, his business had collapsed. The businessman has been admitted to Doon Hospital.
Haldwani’s local resident, Prakash Pandey, tried to commit suicide after consuming poison in the Janta Darshan program. Earlier, he broke down while recording his complaint. Transporter Prakash Pandey said in his complaint that he was troubled by the bank’s debt. He had said that GST and the noteban had stalled his business. He has drowned under debt.
