Student shoots self in Haridwar due to long fight with illness

In Jwalapur area, a student of Ninth grade shot himself from his father’s licensed pistol. The bullet hit him on his head. The student was in depression after being continuously ill for the past 8 years.

The situation is not clear about the post mortem of the child’s body. At present, the police has handed over the body of the student to the family members. The relatives are requesting not to postmortem the body. The police suggested getting permission from the DM for this.

Satvik Sharma, 14-year-old son of Shivalpal Sharma, from Jwalpur, was studying in class nine in DPS Ranipur. For nearly eight years, he was unwell, there was a shaking in his hands and feet. He was undergoing treatment. The family told the police that when they went to Satavik’s room on Sunday evening he had shot himself  from his father’s license pistol in his head.
