The three-day Mussoorie Mountain Festival was inaugurated on Thursday at Woodstock School in Mussoorie. The festival was inaugurated at the Parker Hall of the School by Vladimir Marik Ambassador of Serbia. After that the movie Devbhoomi Land of God was screened on the screen, which was appreciated by the people present. Directed by Goran Pascaljevic, the main character of Devbhoomi was played by Victor Banerjee, resident of Mussoorie. The 92-minute film is dedicated to the people of Uttarakhand, in which the Kedarnath tragedy, the escape from the hills and the child marriage system and the daughters deprived of higher education etc. were presented in a very simple way before the audience. Pahadi language has also been used in many places in the film, which is very favorable to the people of Uttarakhand. The story of the film revolves around a youth who ha left family and settled abroad, returns home after 40 years, only to be boycotted by the entire village. Anupam Shah, expert of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, Vaastu Museum, Mumbai, in the exhibition highlighted the expansion of the Mughal Empire, the artwork of Jaipur and the artistic practices of Khajuraho etc.
