Tata begins delivery of Tiago EV in India
Tata Motors has started the delivery of its and the country’s cheapest electric car Tata Tiago EV. The company has told that on the first day it has delivered its electric hatchback to customers in 133 cities of India. So far the company has delivered 2,000 units. Tata Tiago EV received 10,000 bookings in the first 24 hours. At the same time, this figure has now reached the bar of 20 thousand units. A total of 7 variants of Tiago Electric are coming. Whose price varies from Rs 8.49 Lakh to Rs 11.79 Lakh.
Tata Tiago EV is available in 7 variants
Tata has launched the country’s most affordable electric car in 7 variants. It will come with different battery and charging options. It will come in XE, XT, XT, XZ +, XZ + Tech LUX, XZ + and XZ + Tech LUX variants. At the same time, the option of battery pack will be available from 19.2 KWh to 24 KWh. It will get charging options from 3.3 KV AC to 7.2 KV AC.
Tata Motors claims the Tiago EV is the safest electric hatchback in India. Battery and motor warranty will be available on this EV up to 1,60,000 kilometers.
Tata is offering customers a warranty of 8 years and 160,000 kilometers on the battery and motors of the Tiago electric car. This company claims that the car will give a range of up to 250 km on 19.2 kWh battery pack and 315 km on 24 kWh battery pack. Users will be able to charge it from the 15A socket of the house.
