Hotel Building collapses in Indore after car crashes into one of its pillars

The collapse of a four-storey building in Indore’s Sarvate bus stand killed 10 people. This figure of the dead can also increase as rescue operations were still going on. A lodge was also  being operated in this building. The condition of 5 people in the accident remains serious. The injured are being treated at M Y Hospital. Still some people are feared to be buried in the wreckage and work of relief and rescue from the administration continues.

Shortly after the building collapsed, police reached the entire area and closed the roads passing through it. Fire Brigade’s team reached the spot and started pulling people out of the rubble. It is being told that the debris of one part of the hotel also went to a neighboring house, in which about four to five people were trapped.
According to Ajay Rajput, another hotel employee near the collapsed hotel, there was a sudden burst of loud sound. With this the power of the area went out.

The entire hotel had fallen off. An auto rickshaw passing through there was also in its grip. About 20 minutes after the incident, all the officers of the police and administration along with the teams of the municipal corporation, fire brigade, reached the spot. The collision of a car getting parked outside the hotel building is being believed to be the initial cause of the accident.
