Indian woman dies in Saudi Arabia after being bitten by poisonous ant

An Indian woman was killed by a poisonous ant bite in Saudi Arabia’s capital Riyadh. According to Khaleej Times the relatives of the deceased said that the deceased Susie Jeffi (36) , a resident of Kerala was bitten by an ant in her house on March 19 and her treatment was going on since then.

She died on Tuesday. According to experts some species of ants are poisonous. Their bite has enough venom to kill an adult human.According to a report, bullet ant and red fire ant are quite dangerous. The bullet ant bites are painful for 24 hours. It is said that the pain of bullet ant bite is the highest in ants present in the world.

Bullet ant bite can also be fatal. This ant is about one inch long and is found on trees. These ant attacks only when they feel threatened.
