There has been a major reshuffle once again in the Modi Government. According to sources, finance ministry has been given to Piyush Goyal till the time Arun Jaitley recovers from the kidney transplant operation he had today. Piyush Goyal is currently the Railway Minister. Ministry of Information & Broadcasting has been withdrawn from Smriti Irani. Minister of State for Information Technology, Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore has been given independent charge. Smriti will now see only the Ministry of Textiles.
Today Arun Jaitley’s kidney transplant has happened. The operation was successful. Jaitley had been suffering from health problems for a long time. Piyush Goyal will have the responsibility of the Finance Ministry till Jaitley is completely healthy.
It is considered natural to take ministry from Jaitley, but it is considered as a major decision to withdraw Ministry of I&B from Smriti Irani. Earlier HRD ministry was also taken from Smriti. Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, who is working as the Minister of State in the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, will now see the Ministry of I & B fully.
On 26th May, four years of Modi Government are being completed. It is being told that the work of all ministers is being scanned from the PMO.
