24th Delhi Book Fair to begin from today at Pragati maidain

The 24th Delhi Book Fair will start from Saturday at Pragati Maidan. This entry will be free in the fair, which is going on till September 2. The fair will be inaugurated at 11.30 pm by Union Minister for Human Resource Development (Higher Education) Satyapal Singh. Stationery Fair, Office Automation Fair and Corporate Gift Fair will also be held along with the book fair.

Naveen Gupta of the Indian Publisher Association (FIP) told that more than 120 stalls will be in the fair. The fair will be held in hall number 7. Entry will be from gate number One , eight and ten. Free shuttle service will be available everywhere. The time of the fair will be from 10 am to 8 pm.

Entry to the fair for the first time will be free. While focusing on Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan in theme format fair, the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s new India will be showcased.

The fair is being organized jointly by the Indian Trade Promotion Council (ITPO) and the Indian Publisher Association (FIP). Besides the book fair, Stationary Fair, Office Automation Fair and Corporate Gift Fair are also being organized. There will be more than 120 stalls in the fair. In addition to a wide range of stories and non-fiction, academic books, digital books will also be displayed in addition to child literature, classic and other categories in the book fair. There will also be stalls of the publishing department including Sahitya Akademi, Hindu, Urdu, Punjabi, Sindhi and Sanskrit Academy.
