Fans throng to see MS Dhoni in Shimla’s iconic ridge
Former Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni (Mahi), who arrived in Shimla in connection with the shooting of an advertisement film, appeared on the historic Ridge Maidan and Mall road on Tuesday. The set was set out of the samosa shop near the lift for the shooting. During this, Dhoni participated in the shooting of the advertisement film in the fields of ridge, mall road and other areas. A large number of fans were there to watch Dhoni. During this Mahi greeted the fans. Dhoni shot scenes for advertisement in a dhaba and show room. The Dhaba had already been decorated for shooting the film. During the five-day tour, MSD will be seen shooting for an advertisement at the Ridge Maidan, Indira Gandhi sports complex.
However, the opposition has raised questions about granting Dhoni status as state guest. According to Congress, Dhoni has come to Shimla for the shooting of a private company. In such a situation, it is not right to give him state guest status. At the same time, the government is telling its duty to give security and respect to internationally renowned players. In a notification issued by the government, Mahendra Singh Dhoni has been declared a state guest with pilot / escort for security purpose. Other amenities given to the state guest are not mentioned in this.
Mahi on Monday reached Shimla with his three and a half year old daughter Ziva and wife Sakshi. They are staying in the five-star hotel Wild Flower Hall. Mahi will stay in a five star hotel with family till August 31.
