Mother-Daughter shot by criminals in Haldwani
On Monday night, the miscreants entered a house in Gora Padav area and shot the woman and her daughter. The woman died on the spot, while daughter is fighting the battle of life in the hospital. The criminals took away the scooty of the family along with other valuables. The dog were also killed`. The police has started investigating the incident.
Originally hailing from Jawahar Nagar Pant Nagar, Laxmi Dutt Pandey had been living in Haripur Puranand village adjacent to Bareli Road Highway for nearly 20 years. The family was having a business of transport and mining. At the same time they had property in Jawahar Nagar. Devki Devi, his elderly mother, had been in poor health condition for five days, she was admitted to Nilkanth Hospital. Lakshmi Dutt went to the hospital on Monday night at around 9 pm to look after his mother. His wife Poonam Pandey and daughter Arshi Pandey were at home. His wife Poonam was killed, while the daughter was serious. There is a possibility of shooting and hitting with a heavy object on both their heads.
The criminals had taken all the wardrobe, box boxes and cash, and other items. How many criminals were there is yet to be ascertained.
