Private bus accident in Kullu, 16 reported dead
A major accident happened in Himachal’s Kullu on Monday. The private bus with the passengers fell in the Sainj valley. 16 people have died in this accident. Some of them were children. Some of the injured have been evacuated. It is being told that 45 people were aboard the bus.
According to news agency PTI, the accident happened at 8 am in Sainj Valley in Kullu. The District Commissioner said that the death toll may increase. The bus was going from Kullu to Sainj. School children were traveling in this bus. The central government announced a compensation of Rs 2 lakh each for the next of kin of the deceased.

PM Modi has expressed grief over the accident. PM said- The bus accident in Kullu, Himachal Pradesh is heart-wrenching. My condolences are with the families of the deceased in this sad time. I hope those who have been injured get well soon.
