WHO says not expecting widespread use vaccine against Corona till mid 2021

To prevent corona virus infection, more than 150 countries are working day and night to prepare vaccines. It is expected that by the beginning of 2021, the vaccine will be made against Covid-19. Meanwhile, a spokesman for the World Health Organization (WHO) has said that it is not expected to have a comprehensive vaccination against the corona virus until mid-2021. In fact, more than 200 countries are battling against the corona virus. In such a situation, all countries are waiting for the vaccine to come, but the production and distribution of such a large number of vaccines is a big challenge. Many poor countries may be affected. This is why WHO has expressed concern.

Speaking to reporters during a briefing in Geneva, spokesperson Margaret Harris said – “We are not expecting the availability of the Covid-19 vaccine widely worldwide until the middle of next year.”  She cited the clinical trials of the vaccine – the third phase will be longer because we need to see how much it actually protects and how safe it is. Nearly 76 countries around the world are now committed to joining the World Health Organization (WHO) co-led global corona vaccine allocation scheme, which aims to help purchase and distribute vaccines. An official associated with this scheme has given this information on Wednesday.
