Tanushree Dutta claims to be sexually harassed by Nana Patekar
There was a sensational disclosure on one of the #metoo campaigns in Hollywood. Now for the first time in Bollywood, an actress has made grave accusations against a major star. Actress Tanushree Dutta narrated an incident to the India Today TV in an exclusive interview in which she said she was the victim of sexual harassment.
Tanushree said that “this case is being presented such that a bold actress has accused the famous and prestigious actor. You do not know what the atmosphere was 10 years ago. This kind of behavior of Nana towards other actresses is also discussed in Bollywood. I have no evidence of this, but it has been heard.”
On the question of filing an FIR against Nana, Tanushree said, “I went to the police station for complaining and told everything there. But before we could understand something, a counter FIR was already ready. I do not know how they have gone through the difficulties due to our complaint, but due to their FIR, my father, spotboy and hairdresser were being harassed for years. ”
Tanushree, referring to a case of 10 years old, said, “Nana Patekar wanted to come closer forcibly, he was not a part of the song during the shoot, despite the efforts he tried to intimate with me.”
Tanushree said that in such cases nobody should go on the image. “One can be a good actor, but personal character is different. It can not be judged. Gurmeet Ramarahim and other Godmen were worshiped too, they were considered demigods, but see what the reality comes out later.”
Tanushree said that she did not want to speak on this matter yet, but during a interview, when a journalist questioned her about the matter, she had to mention the incident with him. Tanushree said that the choreographer Ganesh Acharya, director Rakesh Sarang and producer Sami Siddiqui are all aware of this, but no one has done anything.
