Gmail, YouTube face outage worldwide

Services of Gmail, Gmail, YouTube and Google were down for more than 1 hour on Monday evening. Users across the world including India faced trouble. However, Google’s services are now restored. Google Workspace tweeted that their services have resumed. The flaws have been fixed. According to DownDetector tracking websites, users across the world have been affected.

Google Docs also affect

About 54 per cent of users who reported this problem to YouTube said that they were unable to access the website. At the same time, 42 percent of users said that they could not watch the videos on YouTube. While 3 percent users said that they were having trouble logging in.

Services down at around 5 pm

According to DownDetector, Gmail, Google and YouTube were down at around 5 pm IST. Users from all over the world including India, America, European Union, Australia have complained about the services being down. Other Google services like Google Docs also faced problems.

Apart from this, users are also facing problems in Google Drive, Android Play Store and Google Maps. Gmail is the most popular online e-mail service, with more than 1.5 billion active users worldwide.
