Scientists claim to have developed camera capable of ‘capturing time’

World’s fastest camera captures 10 trillion frames per second

Scientists have developed a camera through which it is possible to ‘capture time’. Actually through this camera it is possible to capture light in slow motion. Called the world’s fastest camera, this camera is capable of capturing 10 trillion frames per second.

The new high-speed camera, called T-CUP, can literally freeze time and makes it possible to see incredibly rapid processes even light in extremely slow motion. According to scientists from the US-based California Institute of Technology, this modern camera can give an insight into the untouched mysteries about the interaction between light and matter. In recent years new doors are open for the latest and most effective methods of microscopic analysis of dynamic events in biology and physics by combining between innovations in non-linear optics and cinematography in recent years.
