Left armers Khalil Ahmed and Krunal Pandaya had a bad day in the office giving away 42 and 55 runs respectively.

Rohit- Kohli disappoint

Inform players Rohit Sharma and skipper Virat Kohli were dismissed cheaply due to which India struggled in the early stages. Opener Shikhar Dhawan made a breezy half century to keep the team in hunt. But with Kohli and Dhawan departing in a span of  2 overs team India were on the backfoot. Wicketkeepers Dinesh Karthik and Rishabh Pant then counter attacked to score 25 runs in 1 over and bring India right back in the contest, but a false shot from Pant increased the distance to the finish line for India. Pant’s departure meant more pressure on DK and with 13 required of the final over it proved to be a little too much. For Australia, Adam Zampa was the pick of the bowlers getting 2 wickets for 22 runs in his quota of 4 overs.
