Weather department issues yellow alert for Uttarakhand on Feb 5

Weather in Uttarakhand will also be bad on Friday. A yellow alert has been issued by the Meteorological Department expressing the possibility of rain and snowfall. There is a possibility of hail in Doon and Nainital districts. At the same time, good snowfall has been reported in 2200 m height areas.

According to Meteorological Director Bikram Singh, the weather on Friday is likely to remain the same as Thursday. There will be rain and snowfall. High snow can be found in high altitude areas. At the same time, the rain will reduce the temperature in the plains. Disaster Management Department and Police and Administration have been asked to remain alert. Because of snowfall roads can be slippery in the hills.

Capital Dehradun temperature four degrees below normal

In Dehradun, due to rain throughout the day and late evening, chill increased. The maximum temperature of Doon was recorded at four degrees below normal. The minimum mercury also went one degree below normal. There was strong cold winds till late night. Due to which life was affected. Dr. Janendra Kumar, Senior Physician of Doon Hospital, Dr. Ankur Pandey said that such cold winds should be avoided. Whenever you come out, you must wear many layers of clothes and a warm hat on your head.

Snowfall in Mussoorie and Dhanaulti

The weather patterns in Uttarakhand changed once again on Thursday. Where the first snowfall of the season occurred in Mussoorie. However, the snow could not last long due to rain. At the same time, the high peaks in Dhanaulti, Chakrata were covered with a white sheet of snow. Tourists enjoyed the snowfall by reaching here. On the other hand, due to rain and cold winds in Doon, chill has increased.
