Tuition teacher in UP caught thrashing minor student in CCTV footage

In Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, a case of allegedly assaulting a child of a second class by the tuition teacher has surfaced. The teacher beat the child with a shoe, slapped and held the boy by his throat. On November 15, the child’s relatives came to know about this when they checked the CCTV camera of that room. The tuition teacher taught the child in this room. According to the reports, when relatives asked their children about blue and black spots on his body, he told about the teacher’s treatment.

Senior police officer Ashutosh Dwivedi told the news agency ANI, “The video footage has been recovered. A case has been registered against the teacher and the police team is trying to catch him.”
In this five minute video, the teacher and the child can be seen sitting on two separate chairs. The shoe is seen in the hands of the teacher who is beating the child with it. He seems to be hurting the child by a sharp-edged object like a key on the child’s leg. Apart from this, the teacher pulls the child’s hair and ears and hits him on the back several times. Later, the teacher calls the child forcibly to drink a glass of water and asks him to smile.
