The race for nursery admission in national capital, Delhi has started from today. Admission process in nursery this year are being started soon. There have been changes in some rules in the process of admission this year. Let us know Admission related rules, information related to the date and quota. This year, the process of taking admission in nursery will be done in about 1600 private schools in Delhi, in which a large number of parents will apply. This process of admission will last for about four months. On that basis will the quota be applicable- Some of the norms issued by the schools for admission in entry level classes, the school distance from the child’s house, the first child, the single child, the parents of the child should have studied from the same school, the siblings quota is included.There will be reserved for pre-school, pre-primary and class one for economically weaker sections / deprived groups and 25% seats reserved for them. The Directorate has instructed all the private schools to upload their criteria for their open seats on their official website till December 14. According to the program issued by the Directorate of Education (DOE), the application process will begin on Saturday and the last date for submission of application for admission to Nursery Class for the 2019-20 session will be January 7.

The maximum age has also been decided from this year. These are the rules related to age-
Nursery – Minimum age – 3 years, Max age – less than 4 years
KG- Minimum age – 4 years, Maximum age – Less than 5 years
Class-1- Minimum age – 5 years, Max age – less than 6 years
This age will be fixed on the basis of 31 March 2019.
