Mauna Loa- World’s largest active volcano erupts after 38 years

The volcano located in Mauna Loa in Hawaii province of America has started exploding. Ashes and debris are also falling in the surrounding areas due to this explosion. The volcanic eruption began late on November 27 in the top caldera of the volcano on the Big Island. Experts say that for the first time in 38 years, this volcano has exploded so fast. This explosion has happened due to repeated earthquakes. Earlier such an explosion took place in 1984. In view of the danger, the authorities have issued an alert to the people living on the Big Island of Hawaii.

The US Geological Survey has issued a warning to about two million people living on the Big Island since the new eruption. They have been told that due to an eruption, the volcano can be very dynamic and the location of the lava flow can also change rapidly. People have been told that if the flow of lava moves towards the populated areas, then immediately evacuate their homes and reach a safe place. In view of the dangers arising from lava, the people there have been instructed to stay away from the surrounding areas of the volcano.
