Apple Showtime event 2019 Highlights
In the Apple Show Time event, the company has announced many new services. This event was held at Steve Jobs Theater and Apple CEO Tim Cook introduced it.
Apple TV +
Apple CEO Tim Cook presented Apple TV Plus. Under this service, Apple’s original content, i.e. film and series, will be seen. Apple has partnered with Hollywood legendary film maker Steven Spielberg for Apple TV Plus. During this event, Steven Spielberg was also present and he shared his experience.
Oprah Winfrey has also signed up for this event and she will also be seen on Apple TV Plus.
At the stage, Jason Momoa, who played the role of Khal Drogo Game of Throwns and was also screen on the big screen as Aquaman, was also present. A number of Hollywood stars came together on stage, with whom Apple has partnered with Apple TV Plus content.
Content can be downloaded and it is being started in 100 countries.
Apple Card
Tim Cook announced a new service called Apple Card. Sign up with the iPhone and you will have an Apple Card. It can be used worldwide. There will be no need to go to the bank for this. The Apple card will account for all your expenses. You will have to send message for support and you will also get support from this.
Machine learning has been used to show the transaction history better. It has different types of categories, under which all your expenses will be seen. You will be shown through the graph.
You will also get a reward if you use this app. Cashback will be given every time you use it. The company named it Daily Cash. You can use Apple Cards anywhere at a shopping store or coffee shop.
No Fee and Late Fine on Apple Cards
There will be no extra charge for Apple Card, no late fees will be applicable. Penalties will not be charged. The company has partnered with Goldman Sachs for the Apple Cards. Apart from this, the partnership with MasterCard is also done.
According to the company, the apple card is private as well as secure. With the Apple Card you will be given a unique number and the security code given will be protected. According to the company, Apple Card has been made keeping privacy in mind. Apple will not know where you are spending your money, such information will not be on Apple’s server.
Apple has also claimed that Goldman Sachs will not use your information for advertising. Its starting in America will start from next few months.
Apple TV app
Apple has launched a new Apple TV app. On-demand TV channels will also be an option. HBO and many streaming apps have been supported. It also has support for Amazon Prime Video. That is, like a one-stop shop, where many types of online streaming apps will be available. There has also been a change in its user interface.
First Tim Cook first talked about Apple News which is not a new product. But the company has now changed its definition. Tim Cook has claimed that Apple News is number 1 news app. Apple News can personalize news. Apple TV app will be supported soon in more than 100 countries around the world.
