JEE Advanced 2019 exam date changed due to Lok Sabha election

Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee has changed the JEE Advanced 2019 exam program due to clash with the dates of Lok Sabha elections. IIT Roorkee has changed the date of JEE Advanced Examination to be held on May 19. JEE Advanced Exam 2019 will now be held on May 27 instead of May 19. Earlier, the National Testing Agency had made changes in the dates of the JEE Main Examination due to Lok Sabha elections.

JEE Advanced examination will be organized in two phases. The first paper will be held from 9 a.m. and the second paper will be held from 2 pm. JEE Advanced is the examination, where candidates who pass the JEE Main exam participate. JEE Advance is organized once a year, while JEE Main is organized twice a year. The IIT is conducting this examination every year and this time IIT Roorkee has to organize it.

Candidates who are 25 years of age or above can also now participate in the JEE Advanced Examination. Earlier, it was to be held on May 19, but on this day there will be elections in many seats in Bihar, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, West Bengal, Chandigarh, Uttar Pradesh and Himachal Pradesh.

Enrollment in IIT, CFTI, NIT is done through JEE Main Examination. After taking part in the JEE Main Examination, candidates will have to take part in advance exam. After this the final result of the candidates will be released.
