#MissionShakti: India joins elite list of nations capable of anti-satellite missile

Prime Minister Narendra Modi delivered an important message to the nation. The PM said that today India was successful shot down a Low Orbit satellite with an anti-satellite missile.

Addressing the nation via a teleconference message, PM Modi said, “India today gave its name as space superpower. So far this achievement was achieved by three world countries, America, Russia and China. Now India is the fourth country, which has achieved this feat today. For every Hindustani, there can not be a big moment of pride. “

PM said that shortly before, our scientists had shot down live satellites roaming in the Low Earth Orbit, 300 kilometers away in space. This was a predetermined goal. It was destroyed by anti-satellite missiles. The operation was completed in just three minutes.

PM said that for this the scientists of mission shakti deserve to be congratulated. PM Modi said that “we did not break the international law during this time. The test does not violate any treaty. He said that mission shakti is a step in the protection of dreams.”
