The film has already achieved the record of the biggest opening by getting the figure of Rs 53 crore on its first day. The Indian box office had not seen such numbers from a Bollywood or Hollywood film.
Avengers Endame was launched in India on April 26, in four languages in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu in 2845 screens. In India, a Hollywood movie is usually customized to have a maximum of 2500 screens, but the cinemas have increased the number of screens in the last minute, seeing the craze for Avengers Endgame in the country. According to trade experts, the first day earnings in all the languages of the film ₹ 53.10 crore. This is the new record of earning on the first day. No Hollywood or Bollywood film has touched this figure in India so far.
The record of the biggest opening in India for any Hollywood movie so far belonged to its prequel Avengers Infinity War, which opened ₹ 31.30 million. At the same time, the biggest opening of Indian cinema is Amir Khan’s Thugs of Hindostan, which got 52.25 crore on the first day. The Avengers Endgame has changed the math of the Indian box office.
Given the speed of ticket bookings for the movie, the trade pundits believe that Avengers and Game can cross 100 crores in 2 days. On Saturday, the movie is witnessing a lot of enthusiasm in the audience. There are many screens running in the house. The tickets for the evening shows have already been booked. Experts believe that Avengers Endgame can become the first Hollywood movie to make a collection of 300 crore in India. Record of the highest grossing movie in India is the name of the Avengers Infinity War. The film, released on April 27, 2018, collected ₹ 222.69 crores in 13 days.
At the same time, if talking about Worldwide Collections, the Avengers Endgames was released on 25 April in 25 countries of the world and has completed 3 days journey at the box office. In these three days, the film has raked in $ 601 million (that is, approximately 42 billion), out of which $ 216 million i.e. approximately ₹ 1500 crore comes from China alone.
Critics gives thumbs up to Endgame
Avengers & Games has given a tremendous rating by critics from around the world. America’s review website Rotten Tomatoes has rated the movie 96 percent on the basis of more than 280 reviews, which is unprecedented in its own right. In most of the reviews, the film is said to be the entertainment dose, which includes everything like emotions, drama, action, humor. Even in India, the film is mostly preferred by critics.
