Vivek Oberoi speaks up on meme share controversy

Bollywood actress Vivek Oberoi has been trolled on social media after sharing a meme on exit polls. Salman Khan, Aishwarya Rai and her family are seen in this meme. After this, the Women’s Commission has given notice to Vivek Oberoi. Now Vivek has given a reply on this. Vivek said -“They cannot stop my film, then they are adopting such tactics.”

In an interview with News Agency, ANI Vivek Oberoi said, “I do not know why people are so agitated. Somebody sent me this meme, in which my joke was made. I laughed at it and praised the creativity of that man. If someone makes fun of you, then he does not need to take a seriously.”

Vivek Oberoi said on Salman and Aishwarya – “Everyone other than those who are in that meme are having problems. Do not go to work and start politicians on non-issues. Didi (Mamta Banerjee) recently sent someone to jail for sharing a meme.”

Women Commission sends notice

Vivek Oberoi has spoken up on the notice given by the Women’s Commission. Vivek said that “I am waiting for the National Women’s Commission and the Maharashtra Women’s Commission notice. I want to meet them. I do not think I have done something wrong.”

Raksha Sharma, chairperson of the National Commission for Women said in an interview with ANI-” We want Vivek Oberoi to apologize to those film stars on social media.”

Actress Sonam Kapoor Ahuja called Vivek’s meme “Disgusting and Classles” to which the actor who will be seen in PM Modi’s biopic soon replied,””…Aap apni filmon mein thoda kam overact karein aur social media pe thoda kam overreact karein. I’ve been working in women empowerment for 10 yrs now. I don’t think this is hurting anyone’s sentiments”.
